Important: Right-hand traffic (French-influenced). Le Truck (colorful buses) are public transport. Roads on smaller islands often only partially paved. Alcohol limit: 0.5 per mille.

French Polynesia uses the CFP Franc (XPF). Euros are often accepted. Card payment is possible in hotels and restaurants. Cash is important for markets and local shops. Prices are very high (French level).
