Particularities: Turning right on red is permitted (except in Quebec). School buses have absolute right of way. Alcohol limit: 0.8 blood alcohol level, but provinces can be stricter.

Canada uses the Canadian Dollar (CAD). Card payment is accepted everywhere and preferred. Interac (Canadian debit system) is very widespread. Contactless payment is standard. Cash is still used, but increasingly rarely.
