Restaurants: 10-15% is customary. All-inclusive hotels: $1-2 USD per service. Taxis: Round up or 10%. Tour guides: $5-10 USD per day. Housekeeping: $1-2 USD per day. Tipping in USD is common in tourist areas.

Mexico uses the Mexican Peso (MXN). US dollars are often accepted in tourist areas. Card payment is widespread in tourist areas, but cash is still important, especially outside of resorts.
